Air to Port A forces the pistons outwards, leading to the pinion to turn counterclockwise although the air is currently being fatigued from Port B.
Air to Port B forces the pistons inwards, leading to the pinion to switch clockwise even though the air is getting fatigued from Port A.

Air to Port A forces the pistons outwards, causing the pinion to flip clockwise although the air is being exhausted from Port B.
Air to Port B forces the pistons inwards, causing the pinion to flip counterclockwise even though the air is becoming exhausted from Port A.
